Indian Holi Festival at Sitaram Temple, Jackson MS USA (2016)
This temple has a central building, an Indian ancient Karnata style architecture where a Maha Pandit always greets the worshipers or visitors. Mostly photos are forbidden inside the building where Grand Lords and gods' statues are being displayed. Its a beautful place for religious celebrations.
In Holi festival Kids, women and men visit this place and gather here till 12:00 pm. Food stalls are being displayed to serve Indian traditional food, Dresses and Jewelries. In fact, Sitaram Temple becomes a mini India on this day.

Luckily, I was invited by my Indian Professors at Alcorn State University, MS USA Mr &Mrs Panicker (South Indian family). I visited and enjoyed the dances, live concert, music, colors sprays, people, food and everything. I specially loved Mango Yogurt Juice, Wadapao and many other south Indian dishes. The dresses were awesome. The people were so friendly. Although, I was from Pakistan but still they let me go inside and it was super amazing.
I will remember this day of my life as experiencing a culture where my great great grandpas used to live together. Thank you all Indians and thank you America.
God bless the United States of America.
